ACSED has announced the names of its Employment "ACES" for 2008. They are the sixteen State Departments [see below] that on June 30, 2008 exceeded the State's target representation rate of 16.6 percent for persons with disabilities [PWDs]. The actual overall State government rate achieved on that date was 8.7 percent.

 

The ACSED 2008 Employment "ACES" are:

ACSED President Les Treece-Sinclair noted "This year has been especially difficult for State government in terms of budget and staff reductions.  But on June 30, these 16 departments led the way, showing that disability employment works.  There are other departments that could learn from their example."
