How To Login If You Are Already A Member

1. Scroll way down to the bottom of this page.

2. There you should see the word "Username" with a box under it. It should be located on the left bottom side of the page.

3. Type your username in the box.

4. Below that box you should see the word "Password" with another box under it.

5. Type your password in the box.

6. Hit or click on the button marked "Login".

If you have lost your password click on the line marked "Lost Password?" and follow those steps outlined.

 
How To Become A Registered Member of ACSEDonline.org If You Are Not Already A Member

Registration is free and we don't share whatever information you leave us with anybody. Once you do register you can comment directly on what ever is left here as a posting or make use of the Forums.

Membership in ACSEDonline.org is open to anyone who supports the goals and objectives of the Association of California State Employees with Disabilities (ACSED).  You may become a member of ACSEDonline.org by following the steps outlined below. 

Note that membership in "ACSEDonline.org" (the website) is separate from membership in "ACSED" (the Association).  Even members of ACSED must register separately with ACSEDonline.org in order to access the Forums and enjoy other site privileges.  In order to apply for membership in ACSED see the links in the column on the left to download, fill out, and mail in a Membership Application.

To apply for membership in "ACSEDonline.org" (the website) follow either of the two Methods below:

Method 1:

1.      Click on this link.

2.      Fill in the blanks and fields appropriately. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS!

3.      In the box labeled "Enter your message:", tell us a little bit about yourself.  Are you a person with a disability?  Do you work for the State of California?  Are you a student, retired, and/or someone who would like a career in state government?  Have you previously been involved in working for the advancement of Disability Rights Issues?  What other things about yourself would you like to share with us?

Method 2:

1.      Click the "Contact Us" menu item on the top right of this and every page.

2.      Click on the "Mailboxes" link.

3.      Click on the "Join The Site" mailbox link.

4.      Fill in the blanks and fields appropriately. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS!

5.      In the box labeled "Enter your message:", tell us a little bit about yourself.  Are you a person with a disability?  Do you work for the State of California?  Are you a student, retired, and/or someone who would like a career in state government?  Have you previously been involved in working for the advancement of Disability Rights Issues?  What other things about yourself would you like to share with us?

We are not trying to be overly nosey here.  But we would like to know a bit about you as a person.  And, since we must protect ourselves and our site from unscrupulous persons who join open websites just so they can post unwanted advertisements (spam), we need to reserve the right to deny memberships to folks who just don't appear trustworthy.  (You might be surprised at the number of applications we used to receive from known spam-generating sites when we allowed automatic self-registration.)

We will review your application as quickly as we possibly can.  You should normally hear from us within one to two weeks.  Once your application is accepted we will register you and send you a password you can change (to something only you know) at your convenience.
