On October 10, 2024, several members of the ACSED Board of Directors took part in the annual California Highway Patrol (CHP) job and resource fair on the grounds of the California State Capitol. This event annually affords an opportunity for State departments and agencies, as well as other entities promoting the employment of people with disabilities, to share information and resources to facilitate the recruitment and hiring of people with disabilities into State Service.
Due to the success of this year’s event, the CHP plans to conduct a similar event in Southern California in October, 2025. Thanks to Dan Clark, Karen Chesmore, Nick Stack, Bobby Dutta and Scott Richmond for their work in making ACSED’s a reality at this year’s event.
