California Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-22-25 on March 3, 2025, mandating a hybrid telework policy for all agencies and departments under his authority, and in response ACSED transmitted a letter on March 6, 2025, to CalHR. This Executive Order requires such employees to work from a state office location at least four days a week starting July 1, 2025, with exceptions.
