Registration Instructions
Individual Registration for the 2026 ACSED Training Symposium

Please read these instructions first and then use the “Proceed to Registration” button below to register to attend the 2026 ACSED Training Symposium.

All attendees must complete registration by close of business on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Registration is free for ACSED members. Please DO NOT mark that you are an ACSED member unless you’re sure about your membership status. If you aren’t sure, we will verify your membership status before you begin the registration process. To do so, please send an email to our Membership Registrar, Lisa Brown at lbrown.acsed@gmail.com

If you are not an ACSED member but want to join, please visit

https://web-kahuna.com/acsed/membership-application/

In order to register for the Symposium at no cost, you’ll need to apply for membership and pay your dues by no
later than October 15th.

There is also no cost for registration for those presenting at the Symposium and those who have been asked to serve as a volunteer (e.g. tech host for one or more sessions).

All others must pay a registration fee. You may pay online through PayPal using a credit card. The cost is $204.60, including service fees charged by PayPal. Please be prepared to pay at the time you register. If you are not ready to do so, please wait and complete your registration when you are able to pay.

You can also pay by sending a check for $200, made payable to ACSED, to the address below. Checks must be postmarked no later than Friday, October 2nd.

Send your check to:

2026 Training Symposium Registration
ACSED
5960 South Land Park Drive
PMB 194
Sacramento, CA 95822

Your employer may pay for your registration in two ways.

One way is that a number of state agencies have agreed to partner with ACSED to support the Symposium and have purchased training packages for a limited number of their employees to attend the Symposium. (Click here for a list of partner departments.) If your department is a partner and you have already registered or were registered by your department; you DO NOT need to register again. You should have already received an email confirming your registration, but if you’re not sure, send an email to ralphdblack@att.net and we’ll let you know if you are already registered.

Another way is if your department is not a partner or is a partner but has already registered the number of employees authorized in its training package, your department can still pay for your individual registration by credit card or check as described above.

Reasonable Accommodation:

When you register, please be sure to let us know if you need any type of reasonable accommodation.

In particular, if you will need a sign language interpreter, please register and include your accommodation request by no later than Friday, October 2nd in order to ensure that we will be able to arrange ASL services.

Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email sent to the address entered in the form.

Detailed information about the Symposium, including the program and the links you’ll need to participate, will be sent to registrants by October 19th, just before the Symposium begins on Tuesday, October 20th.

Please note that the registration system will not accept duplicate registrations. If you need to correct or update a registration, if the confirmation email is not received, or if you have other questions regarding registration, you may contact Ralph Black at
ralphdblack@att.net or by phone at (916) 531-6460.
