Don’t miss the first Association of California State Employees with Disabilities Career Event, featuring California Department of Human Resources, Department of Rehabilitation, Statewide Disability Advisory Council and SETA Sacramento!
We are dedicated to promoting and building a diverse, inclusive workforce and connecting that talent to state employers who are cultivating an inclusive, accommodating environment.
We will conduct a 3-part series of events to include:
The state job application process, veterans’ preference, persons with disabilities and job interview techniques. Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) which supports persons with disabilities to get jobs in California state civil service.
Resources and training for state hiring managers on guidance and tools for interviewing, hiring, and success for candidates with disabilities including how to utilize the Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) lists to fill vacancies.
And a State Virtual Career Fair!

Audience: State Hiring Managers/HR who would like to meet your department’s disability parity rate and support a diverse and thriving population.
Overview: DOR panel presentation to State Hiring managers/HR on hiring individuals with disabilities, reasonable accommodations, and related topics.
